Meet Joan Schnoebelen

In 1977, a mom with a young family embarked on a career spanning 48 incredible, distinguished years—nearly a million miles in countless cars, carrying thousands of families, young and old, big and small—single professionals, first-time home buyers, empty nesters, career relocations, up-sizes, down-sizes, and “just because we want to be.” Joan’s calm and reassuring magnetism, combined with the wisdom gained through the successful execution of thousands of contract negotiations, has maneuvered so many grateful clients to their “Next.”

 

She was born and raised within a 5-mile radius and, like so many St. Louisans, has always been deeply rooted in proud St. Louis tradition. Joan attended Mary Queen of Peace, Villa Duchesne, and Maryville University. Married to John, her husband of 58 years, and Mom to three grown children, Joan’s roots grew even deeper still. With her youngest, Megan, at her side, she launched a fledgling career as a brand-new real estate agent. Just like her Mom had done so many years before, Megan delivered signs, worked open houses, and, in those days, stopped at real estate offices to pick up keys for Buyer showings. Soon, what was a mother-to-daughter mentorship grew into what would be one of the most essential and dynamically successful real estate partnerships the country has ever seen. Joan is a pillar of the communities she serves. She is actively and passionately involved with her alma mater. She remains closely tied to organizations at Mizzou, Maryville University, Clayton and Ladue High Schools, Old Warson Country Club, and Villa Duchesne.
